Membership Guidelines
Membership in the PCGA shall be on a voluntary basis and by invitation only. All members of the PCGA are called auxiliarists. However, those who become officers are entitled to use the auxiliary ranks authorized for them and be addressed as such. There will be no enlisted personnel rank equivalent for PCGA with the non-PCGA auxiliary officers plainly called “auxiliarists” who may be eventually appointed as PCGA officers after satisfaction of requirements issued by the Commandant for the said purpose.
The PCGA ranks and positions/designations that will be occupied by the prospective member shall be determined based on his/her qualifications and in accordance with the criteria set forth for the purpose as approved by the Commandant, PCG.
Membership in a Squadron may not be limited to members belonging to the same profession, employment, company or office, provided that members of a particular squadron shall perform duties according to the specialization of the squadron where he/she belongs to.
Any members of a specific type of squadron may be allowed to obtain associate membership in only one other type of squadron where he may be allowed to perform certain duties as approved by concerned Squadron Auxiliary Directors and District Auxiliary Directors and the concerned CG Station Commanders and CG District Commanders. Such member, however, is not required to pay additional membership dues and shall not have any voting rights and other privileges inherent only to regular members of that squadron associated with.
