Organizational Structure

There shall be a national Auxiliary Director for Luzon, National Auxiliary Director for Visayas, National Auxiliary Director for Mindanao, and Deputy National Auxiliary Director for Operations, for Administration and for Auxiliary Affairs, Chief of Staff of the national Auxiliary Directorate, all of whom are Flag Officers. There shall be a National Auxiliary Board in each National Auxiliary Directorates which shall be comprised of all District Auxiliary Directors, Deputy National Directors, Immediate Past District Auxiliary Directors, and the national Auxiliary Director (for Luzon, Visayas or Mindanao) as Chairman. The Chief of Staff of the National Auxiliary Directorate is not a member and shall head the Board’s Secretariat.

There shall be a District Auxiliary Director in each Auxiliary District, Deputy District Auxiliary Directors for Operations, for Administration and for Auxiliary Affairs, and Chief of Staff of the District Auxiliary Office. There shall be a District Auxiliary Board which shall be comprised of the Deputy District Auxiliary Directors, all Squadron Auxiliary Directors and the District Auxiliary Director as Chairman. The Chief of Staff of the District Auxiliary Office is not a member and shall head the Board’s Secretariat

There shall be Squadrons for Maritime Safety, Squadrons for Marine Environmental Protection and Squadrons for Maritime Security. Each Squadron shall have a Squadron Auxiliary Director, Deputy Squadron Auxiliary Directors for Operations, Administration and Auxiliary Affairs, Chief of Staff of the Squadron Auxiliary Office and a Squadron Auxiliary Board chaired by the Squadron Auxiliary Director whose members include all Division Auxiliary Chiefs, the three Deputies and the Immediate Past Squadron Auxiliary Director. The Squadron Auxiliary Director shall point a Division Auxiliary Chief for each specialized division under the respective squadron. The Division Auxiliary Chief designates his Assistant.

The Division is the basic unit of the PCGA classed or categorized according to geographical location.

A squadron should be composed of not less than two Divisions.
A Division should have at least 20 active members.
A member can be considered an active member if he participates in the activity of the Division such as in the conduct of search and rescue operations, promotion of marine environmental protection, youth development, meetings and others and when he pays his dues in time.
